Tips to keeping your teeth white and healthy

1. Eat apples, celery and carrots. These fruits and vegetables help clean your teeth and don't harm your enamel.

2. Eat small portions of cheese after a meal. Research is showing that small amounts of cheese prevents tooth decay and re-mineralizes your enamel.

3. Avoid drinking liquids or eating food that stain your teeth such as coffee, red wine, fruit drinks, dark sodas, tea, sport drinks, blueberries, blackberries, or beets. These liquids and fruits can stain your teeth easily. Over long term use your tooth enamel will wear out. If you do eat or drink these foods it is highly recommended to rinse or brush your teeth afterwards. Another tip is to sip your drinks with a straw which avoids direct contact with your teeth.

4. Brush your teeth at least twice a day.

5. Flossing is just as important. By flossing your teeth you remove any food, plaque and/or staining in between your teeth.

6. Visit a dentist every 6 months for a cleaning and check up.

with the use of orthodontics dentistry both young and adults can acquire good dental health and also a confident and beautiful smile. In case the teeth are overcrowded then it creates problem in brushing and flossing of the teeth. This in turn results in a breeding ground for cavity which results in bacteria and plaque. Orthodontics dentistry makes extensive use of braces to reshape and reposition the jaw line.

I had no idea that eating apples, celery, and carrots could be good for cleaning teeth. I just moved to a new state last week and I need a new dentist. I will make sure to follow these tips so the new dentist will love how clean my teeth are.

Thanks for explaining that every six months you should see a dentist. My teeth have been paining me recently. I'll have to look into a family dentist to see.

How interesting that apples, carrots, and celery could improve your teeth whitening. One of my sisters got a modeling job, and she wants to improve her oral health. I'll help her find a good dentist so she can get more opinions from a professional.

Wow, I never knew that apples, celery, and other fruits and vegetables can help to clean your teeth and that cheese can help to prevent tooth decay! I've been trying to find ways to keep my toddler's teeth clean and healthy but still let her enjoy sweets and good-tasting food. I will try to incorporate these foods into her diet soon, as well as find a dentist to clean both of our teeth sometime next year.

My yellowish teeth have left me feeling insecure. I never knew that I must visit a dentist every 6 months for a cleaning. That's why I'm currently looking for an orthodontist who'll be able to whiten my teeth back.

Wait, eating cheese can prevent tooth decay?! How have I never known this? Well, I probably need to get a tooth extracted this year. But after that, I'm eating cheese after every meal. And then I'll be compelled to brush my teeth because my wife won't kiss me if I have cheese breath.

I did not know that eating a small piece of cheese can help tooth decay. My aunt told me that for some reason, she lost a couple of teeth and she does not know why. I will recommend her to visit a dentist as soon as possible so she can get treatment.

Wow, I had no idea that cheese actually reduced tooth decay. For the last couple of months, I have begun to notice that my teeth look a little dull and yellowed. I want a beautiful white smile that I can be confident in. I will have to try your cheese and other tips, but I also think I will look into teeth whitening services in the area.

Thanks for the tip to avoid eating blueberries because they can stain teeth. I want to have white teeth for my brother's wedding this summer. I'll see a dentist and I'll be sure to avoid foods that stain my teeth.
